About Brondesbury Lodge
Brondesbury Lodge is a purpose‑built Nursing and Residential Care Home located in the historic town of Cardigan, Wales. Nestled on the tidal reach of the River Teifi—where Ceredigion meets Pembrokeshire—our home offers a peaceful setting rich in natural beauty and local heritage.
Set within its own private grounds, Brondesbury Lodge is just a short walk from Cardigan’s vibrant town centre. Residents and their families can enjoy a wide range of nearby amenities, including shops, cafés, a theatre/cinema, library, and the beautifully restored Norman castle, the site of the very first competitive Eisteddfod. With stunning beaches and the Preseli Hills close by, our location is ideal for meaningful days out with loved ones.
Our Philosophy
At Brondesbury Lodge, our guiding principle is simple: every individual deserves the best possible quality of life. We provide a warm, supportive environment where residents are encouraged to live as independently and purposefully as possible. Our team is committed to preserving each person’s dignity, self‑respect, safety, and wellbeing, ensuring that every resident feels valued, respected, and truly at home.

We are very proud of our Manager, Jolly Joseph, who, together with her husband, was invited to attend the Royal Garden Party 2018 in recognition of her service to our community.
